How to Book Your Appointment on GlossGenius

Booking your hair appointment should not feel like taking a test. 😂

If online booking feels confusing, this guide is for you.

I use GlossGenius for Sparkle Sessions appointments because it lets you choose your service, see available days and times, and book when it’s convenient for you.

And I’ve made the menu much more visual so you can actually see examples of many services before you choose.

Here’s the easiest way to book.

Step 1: Hit “Book Now”

Go to the Sparkle Sessions booking page and tap the Book Now button.

That takes you into the service menu.

Step 2: Select Your Service

Scroll through the menu and choose the service that best matches what you want done.

You’ll see:

the service name

a description

the starting price

and, for many services, a visual image to help explain what you’re booking.

Take a second to read the description.

If you’re choosing between services like a Crown Highlight, Partial Highlight, Full Highlight, Gloss, Toner, Root Retouch or another color service, the pictures are there to help make those differences easier to understand.

Step 3: Tap “Book Service”

Once you open the service you want, look toward the top of the screen and tap:

Book Service

That tells GlossGenius which appointment you want to schedule.

Step 4: Pick Your Day

Next, you’ll see the available appointment dates.

Choose the day that works best for you.

If the day you want does not appear, that usually means I’m either off or that day is already fully booked.

Because I work a 9-days-on / 5-days-off schedule, booking ahead is especially helpful if you prefer a specific day or time.

Step 5: Pick Your Time

After you choose the day, GlossGenius will show you the available times for that service.

Choose the time that works best for you.

Remember: the available times depend on how long the service takes.

A haircut may have different availability than a Full Highlight or Brazilian Blowout because those services require different amounts of appointment time.

Step 6: Hit “Next”

Once you’ve selected your day and time, tap Next.

You’re almost done.

Step 7: Enter Your Information

GlossGenius will ask for your contact information.

Enter things like your:

name

phone number

email address

and any other information requested.

Make sure your phone number and email are correct so you receive your appointment confirmation and reminders.

Step 8: Review and Book

Before submitting, take one quick look at:

your service

your date

your time

and your contact information.

If everything looks right, submit the appointment.

And that’s it.

You’re booked. 💚

You should receive a confirmation letting you know the appointment went through.

What If I Don’t Know What Service to Book?

This is probably the question I hear most.

“Sparkle, I know what I want my hair to look like…but I don’t know what it’s called.” 😂

That is completely okay.

You are not expected to speak hairstylist.

Start by looking at the service images and descriptions.

I’ve added visual guides specifically to help with questions like:

Do I need an Accent, Crown, Partial or Full Highlight?

Do I need a Gloss or Toner?

Is this a Root Retouch or All-Over Color?

Do I need color AND highlights?

If you’re still unsure, send me a message or book a consultation.

It is much better to ask than to guess.

Why Choosing the Right Service Matters

This is not just about price.

When you book online, GlossGenius reserves a specific amount of time based on the service you select.

So if you book a small service but actually need a much larger color appointment, I may not have enough time reserved to do everything properly.

That’s why I always say:

Booking the right service = enough time + the right result.

If you think you may need more than one service, make sure you choose the correct combination or add-on when available.

A Quick Example

Let’s say your roots need gray coverage AND you want highlights.

You probably don’t want to book only a Root Retouch.

You may need one of the combination services instead, such as:

Root Retouch + Crown Highlight

or

Root Retouch + Partial Highlight

depending on where you want the brightness.

The visual guides in the menu can help you see the difference.

Sparkle’s Booking Tip 💚

Before you hit the final button, ask yourself:

Did I choose everything I want done during this appointment?

Haircut?

Color?

Highlights?

Gloss?

Toner?

Treatment?

If you’re not sure, reach out before booking.

I’d rather help you choose the right appointment ahead of time than have you arrive excited for a service we don’t have enough time scheduled to complete.

Online Booking Is Supposed to Make Life Easier

Once you get used to it, GlossGenius makes booking pretty simple.

The basic process is:

Book Now → Choose Service → Book Service → Pick Day → Pick Time → Next → Enter Info → Done

That’s it.

No phone tag.

No waiting for me to finish with a client before I can respond.
